At the beginning of the meeting, the General Manager, on behalf of Yongshang Cable, extended a welcome to Mr. Bhagat Tanai and provided a systematic overview of the company's development. Established in 2008 as a high-tech enterprise and a specialized, sophisticated, innovative SME, Yongshang Cable has a registered capital of 320 million RMB. It holds 14 patents, 5 software copyrights, and 25 certifications, reflecting solid technical expertise and a comprehensive production system in wire and cable manufacturing. To meet PV industry demands, the company has developed a product matrix covering nearly 20 series, including solar photovoltaic cables, PV DC cables, energy storage cables, and new energy cables. Its PV cables feature high-purity tinned oxygen-free copper cores and a double-layer sheath design. After irradiation by electron accelerators, the cables offer key advantages such as low resistance, flame retardancy, high-temperature resistance, and UV resistance. With full grid-connection certifications, they are suitable for various PV application scenarios.

Mr. Bhagat Tanai elaborated on the current status of India’s PV industry and his specific project requirements. India is advancing its strategic goal of achieving 50% non-fossil energy by 2030, leading to accelerated construction of large-scale ground PV power stations. However, cable adaptability under extreme climates has become an industry challenge—temperature variations from -40°C to 90°C in northern desert regions, along with intense UV exposure, impose stringent demands on insulation stability and service life. Additionally, recent Indian trade policies related to PV have made technically proficient and compliant suppliers the preferred choice in the market. Accordingly, he inquired in detail about Yongshang Cable’s weather resistance performance, customization capabilities, and quality inspection standards, presenting specific project parameters and environmental monitoring data.

During the talks, both sides also discussed supply chain assurance and localized services. Mr. Bhagat Tanai expressed high recognition of Yongshang Cable’s technical strength and certifications, emphasizing that “high-quality cable products are essential for the efficient operation of PV projects, and Yongshang Cable’s professionalism and product performance align with our project standards.” The General Manager of Yongshang Cable stated that the company could provide full-specification customization based on Indian project needs, ensure timely delivery through its robust production and quality control systems, and offer technical support in line with potential localized production plans in India.

By the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to advance follow-up efforts in product testing and technical alignment. Mr. Bhagat Tanai and his delegation also visited Yongshang Cable’s production workshops and product exhibition hall, gaining a detailed understanding of the company’s manufacturing processes and quality management systems.

This negotiation has established a vital bridge for deepening cooperation within the China-India photovoltaic industry chain. As a key supporting enterprise in the photovoltaic sector, Yongshang Cable possesses breakthrough opportunities in India's burgeoning new energy market through its technological advantages and compliance capabilities. The collaboration between the two parties will also provide a practical model for cross-border industrial cooperation within the context of the global energy transition.
